Objectives: To establish a sustainable system of the
re-qualification in information technologies, incl.
generation of ODL training materials, which will become
a part of the rehabilitation process. To integrate the
disabled persons back to the society, offering them
new prfessional carrier in the field where is no danger
of unemployment. Coordinator is Brno Technical University
(Czech Republic).
The duration of the project is 36 months - from October

European Enhancement of Early Years Management Skills
(a Leonardo da Vinci project).
Objectives: To improve the management skills of persons,
caring for small children, to provide a route for the
attainment of a degree level qualification for carers
and managers within the childcare sector, to enhance
the learning experience and the employability factors.
Coordinator is Liverpool Hope University (UK).
The duration of the project is 36 months - from October
1, 2003 till September 30, 2006.
PROTELEUSES (Contract
No. IST-1999-20852) Best Practice Pilot for the Promotion and
Implementation of Teleworking Tools at European SMEs of the
Service Sector.
Objectives: to foster the introduction of teleworking tools
in the European small and medium-size enterprises of the service
sector. Identification of teleworking requirements, analysis
of the existing teleworking tools, selection of best solution
to be introduced by each of pilot SMEs, coordination the implementation
of the chosen solutions are planned. Coordinator of the project
is CARSA(Spain).
The duration of the project was 18 months - from November 1,
2001 till April 30, 2002.
FLEXWORK (Contract
No. IST-2001-33526) - Demonstrating and Promoting the Adoption
of New Ways of FLEXible WORKing Among Outlying Regions and SMEs.
Objectives: the project is to facilitate the practical take-up
of new ways of flexible working using technologies from within
and outside IST, in outlying or technologically disadvantaged
regions with special emphasis on SMEs. Coordinator is the Waterford
Institute of Technology (Ireland).
The duration of the project was 18 months - from April 1, 2002
till September 30, 2003.

Electronic Municipal Information Services - Best Practice Transfer
and Improvement Project.
Objectives: essential improving of municipality services in
SE Europe using IT. Coordinator is the Fraunhofer Institute
for Secure Telecooperation (Germany).
The duration of the project was 24 months - from November 1,
2001 till October 31, 2003.
